Luxury lingerie has beaten the credit crunch with rising sales and spiraling profits. The lingerie industry was up to £2.48 Billion during 2006 bucking the trend for cheaper clothing on the high street with more and more women buying exclusive lingerie brands such as Agent Provocateur, La Perla and Ultimo. No more shapeless, mono colour undies!!!

Self indulgent lingerie, once only worn by models and continental sirens is now common place in most high street stores to a much higher standard than previously. The Wonderbra billboard ad of the 1990s was ground breaking in bringing lingerie into the mainstream with its cheaky slogan and eye catching image.

With most ladies choosing a classic style and luxurious (but not necessarliy expensive) lingerie this trend is set to continue!

UK Lingerie Shops will be getting a complete revamp for the second half of 2008 with a redesign of the way the site looks and works with great new features that will take the site to a new level. We will retain the great websites we have featured and the 3 sections (ladies, gents, naughty) while adding in more cool features, offers and a unique Brands Section which will have details on 20 of the best brands around such as Charnos, CK, Sloggi, Triumph and Wonderbra. The detailks we will have include average prices, company history and ethos, where they come from and most importantly where you can get them!

This update will hopefully be implemented in the next month or so and make the UK Lingerie Shops even stronger!!! I will keep you update nearer the time as to what the site will look like and anything else you will need to know!

Every store will have age bracket and price bracketed products with great offers and a real variation of styles and designers.
