Sales of lingerie and luxury underwear has grown by 37% during May 2008 with a staggering £145 million each day online over all shopping sectors.

The thinking that has switched from old fashioned retail to online stores (sometimes the same brands it should be said) has seen less and less people needing retail therapy with the inflated prices (plus travel costs and food and drink) that go along with venturing into town. The Wonderbra billboard ad of the 1990s was ground breaking in bringing lingerie into the mainstream with its cheaky slogan and eye catching image.

With most ladies choosing a classic style and luxurious (but not necessarliy expensive) lingerie this trend is set to continue!

We will retain the great websites we have featured and the 3 sections (ladies, gents, naughty) while adding in more cool features, offers and a unique Brands Section which will have details on 20 of the best brands around such as Charnos, CK, Sloggi, Triumph and Wonderbra. The detailks we will have include average prices, company history and ethos, where they come from and most importantly where you can get them!

This update will hopefully be implemented in the next month or so and make the UK Lingerie Shops even stronger!!! I will keep you update nearer the time as to what the site will look like and anything else you will need to know!
